Westwind Hills Wedding Venue: Planner’s Guide

A Westwind Hills wedding is the perfect blend of refined elegance, thoughtful design, and an absolutely effortless guest experience. Located just west of St. Louis in Pacific, Missouri, this breathtaking venue offers couples the convenience of an accessible location with the peaceful charm of a countryside setting.

As a St. Louis wedding planner, I love recommending Westwind Hills to couples who want a space that feels elevated, intentional, and welcoming from the moment guests arrive.

About Westwind Hills

Westwind Hills is a luxury wedding venue that was clearly designed with both beauty and functionality in mind. Owners Lauren and Rob have created a space that feels timeless yet modern, with abundant natural light, soaring ceilings, and architectural details that elevate every celebration. The open layout encourages guests to move comfortably throughout the day, while the venue’s thoughtful flow ensures transitions feel seamless and stress-free.

One of the things that truly sets Westwind Hills apart is its versatility. While the space is stunning as-is, it also serves as a beautiful blank canvas for couples who want to push creative boundaries with bold color palettes, unique layouts, or clean, minimalist designs. Add in their standout in-house bar service, and it’s easy to see why guests leave so impressed!

What I love about Westwind Hills weddings

From a planner’s perspective, Westwind Hills is a dream. The team is supportive, collaborative, and genuinely invested in making each event run smoothly. Their transparency around pricing, inclusions, and add-ons makes the planning process easier for everyone involved.

One of my favorite details is their use of Queen’s tables instead of standard banquet tables — it’s a subtle design choice that instantly elevates the guest experience (and makes for gorgeous tablescapes!). The venue strikes a rare balance between elegance and flexibility, offering enough architectural interest to feel elevated while still allowing couples to fully personalize their day.

Westwind Hills wedding ceremony & reception spaces

One of the things I love most about Westwind Hills is the versatility of its spaces! With beautiful indoor and outdoor locations, it’s easy to design your wedding day look and feel exactly how you envision it. Here are the spaces at this dreamy Missouri wedding venue:

The Chandelier Room

Westwind Hills wedding ceremony venue

The Chandelier Room is a dedicated indoor ceremony space designed to wow. You’ll exchange vows in front of an 18-foot signature arched window and beneath 24-foot ceilings and a grand statement chandelier. It’s just stunning.

Filled with natural light, this space feels timeless and elegant while comfortably seating up to 300 guests ceremony-style. A separate entrance allows couples to keep the reception space a surprise, which adds a special “reveal” moment to the day.

  • Style: Light, airy, and romantic

  • Capacity: Up to 300 guests

  • Great for: Ceremonies

The Charleston Room

For receptions, The Charleston Room offers an open, airy atmosphere with arched white oak windows, vaulted ceilings, and light natural wood beams. A custom-built bar with a waterfall quartz top and brass shelving becomes both a functional feature and a design focal point.

The space seats 200 guests on its own or up to 300 when combined with The Chandelier Room, with multiple layout options and the ability to keep the room locked until a grand reception reveal. In any case, this venue always flows well!

  • Style: Timeless, classic, and clean

  • Capacity: Up to 300 guests

  • Great for: Receptions

The Veranda & Patio

Couples dreaming of an outdoor ceremony without stressing about weather will love The Veranda & Patio. Intimate weddings of 100 or fewer can use the covered veranda, while larger events of up to 300 guests can utilize the outdoor patio.

During seasonal months, this space also hosts cocktail hour, complete with an outdoor bar. Heaters, ramp access, and a complimentary indoor backup plan make this space as practical as it is beautiful!

  • Style: Open-air, comfortable, and scenic

  • Capacity: Up to 300 guests

  • Great for: Ceremonies, cocktail hours

Additional features & amenities

Westwind Hills offers exclusive use of the entire building and 31-acre property, ensuring couples never share the space with another event. All indoor chairs, tables, and barware for up to 300 guests are included in the rental.

The venue features a stunning two-level Bridal Suite with a balcony overlooking the ceremony space, private patio, built-in makeup stations, kitchenette, and abundant natural light. The Groom’s Room offers a sleek, masculine aesthetic with white oak beams, a private patio, wet bar, and dedicated restroom.

While Westwind Hills partners exclusively with a curated list of catering teams, couples are free to bring in their preferred vendors for all other services. Optional in-house linen and floral offerings are available for added convenience, too.

What type of couple would love a Westwind Hills wedding?

A Westwind Hills wedding is ideal for couples who value a refined and luxurious atmosphere paired with a seamless guest experience. They appreciate natural sophistication and thoughtful design, while still wanting room to explore creative ideas. Above all, they prioritize how their guests feel (comfortable, cared for, and completely at home) without sacrificing an elevated, polished aesthetic.

If that sounds like you, I’d love to help you start planning your Westwind Hills wedding.

How much does a Westwind Hills wedding cost?

Budgeting for a Westwind Hills wedding truly depends on priorities and guest count. As a general guideline, a wedding with around 100 guests that includes catering and a five-hour premium bar typically starts around $30,000. Many of my clients invest an average of $500-750 per guest, depending on their design choices, vendor selections, and overall vision.

Curating your one-of-a-kind wedding experience

One of the joys of planning at Westwind Hills is how easily the venue adapts to each couple’s vision. From dramatic linens and creative layouts to intentional design details, the space allows me to elevate an initial concept into something deeply personal and memorable. I love creating environments that feel welcoming and meaningful, where every element supports the couple’s story.

I’d also love to one day incorporate lush draping and layered ambient lighting to completely transform the space, along with elevated production elements like custom bar facades or a show-stopping dance floor.
