Shannon + Scott | Intimate Wedding with Purple & Pink at Cooper's Ridge Event Venue

I got the opportunity to work very closely with Shannon and her mother, Kristen, to plan their intimate and sweet wedding day from beginning to end. Kristen connected with me in 2022, seeking out professional help to plan her daughter’s wedding. At the time of booking, Shannon and Scott had secured Cooper’s Ridge Event Venue, a rustic wedding venue full of modern charm located just outside of Columbia, Missouri. However, beyond a date and a venue, Shannon & Scott needed a lot of help to book their vendors, create a design plan, and so much more.
We asked Shannon “What made you choose to work with Plan it Terra? Why did that matter to you?”
“My mom actually found you! She liked your attention to detail and your level of expertise/personality were some of the deciding factors.”
Shannon and Scott's wedding day at Cooper's Ridge Event Venue was an enchanting and joyous affair filled with love, laughter, and sweet memories. The charming venue nestled amidst the rolling hills of Missouri provided the perfect backdrop for their special day. As the morning sun painted the sky with hues of gold, Shannon and her bridesmaids prepared for the festivities with excitement and anticipation. The air was filled with a palpable sense of anticipation as they shared laughter, stories, and a few happy tears.
Meanwhile, Scott and his groomsmen exuded charm and suave as they donned their impeccably tailored suits. Nervous yet eager, Scott eagerly awaited the moment he would see his beautiful bride, which he would during their First Look.
The ceremony took place under a blooming arch adorned with fragrant, purple flowers, adding a touch of elegance to the scene. Family and friends, beaming with delight, gathered to witness the union of these two souls. Shannon's radiant smile illuminated the surroundings as she walked down the aisle.
With heartfelt vows exchanged and rings placed upon their fingers, Shannon and Scott sealed their love with a tender kiss, amidst cheers and applause from their loved ones. The sheer happiness and love in their eyes were a testament to the profound connection they shared.
We asked Shannon, “What would you say to a couple who is thinking about booking us?”
“I would tell them to just book with you. You and your team take care of everything so that wedding day will be stress free. It’s well worth the money!”
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delightful cocktail hour, mingling and indulging in delectable hors d'oeuvres. The reception hall was full of upbeat chatter and the peaceful sounds of a live pianist. As the sun began to set, Shannon and Scott shared their first dance as a married couple. Their graceful movements and undeniable chemistry filled the room with an enchanting aura. The evening continued with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and delicious cuisine that delighted the guests' palates. The dance floor came alive with energetic moves and infectious laughter as friends and family reveled in the joyous celebration. Of course, the day would not have been complete without a sparkler exit.
The wedding day at Cooper's Ridge Event Venue was a testament to Shannon and Scott's love story, a day filled with cherished moments, happy tears, and an overwhelming sense of happiness. Surrounded by their loved ones, Shannon and Scott embarked on their journey as husband and wife, embracing a future filled with love, adventure, and endless possibilities.
