From the moment we arrived, it was evident that this couple's down-to-earth nature and sweet personalities had been beautifully woven into every aspect of their special day. With Pretty Little Things handling the styling and event design and Bare Roots providing stunning florals, the wedding was a visual treat.
Under the expert guidance of Courtney from Pretty Little Things, the styling and vintage details of Marlana and Logan's wedding were truly heartwarming. Our team collaborated with Courtney to setup this wedding; our crew handled the installation of tables, linens, the dance floor, and place settings while Courtney’s team focused on all of the beautiful little details. One standout feature was the coffee and coffee mug favor table. The couple had lovingly collected an array of vintage coffee mugs to gift to their guests, creating a personalized and nostalgic touch. The abundance of adorable cups added a delightful charm to the overall design, showcasing the couple's attention to detail and love for vintage aesthetics.
Bare Roots created floral arrangements that effortlessly transitioned from the ceremony to the reception. The carefully selected blooms added a touch of natural elegance to the day, perfectly complementing the vintage theme. The florals adorned the venue with beauty and grace, bringing life to every corner and enhancing the romantic atmosphere.
The wedding day began with Marlana and her bridal party preparing inside the stone Bridal Cottage at Wildcliff. Meanwhile, the groom and his groomsmen readied themselves in the charming town of Blackwater, MO, taking advantage of the rustic Man Cave for their portraits. The couple then shared a heartfelt first look on the cliffs, which provided a breathtaking vantage point overlooking the entire property. It was a magical moment, capturing their genuine emotions and setting the tone for the rest of the day.
Marlana and Logan, along with their bridal party, spent the afternoon capturing timeless portraits around the Wildcliff property. Each shot radiated the couple's love and joy. The natural surroundings created a captivating backdrop for their everlasting memories.
The ceremony was officiated by the groom's father, a judge, who delivered a heartfelt and personalized service without the need for a written outline. The genuine connection between the couple and their loved ones was palpable throughout the ceremony, adding an extra layer of sentimentality to the occasion. Following the ceremony, the couple took family photos before warmly greeting their guests at the reception area, personally thanking each one for sharing in their joyous day.
Dinner was a culinary delight, leaving guests with satisfied palates and contented smiles. The couple cut not only their wedding cake but also a cherry pie lovingly made by the groom's mother, highlighting the cherished family traditions that were incorporated into the celebration. Another little detail was at the bar; it had been a treasured tradition for a silver punch bowl owned by the groom’s grandmother to be used at family weddings. The punch bowl was displayed on the bar for all to see. The reception space, illuminated by the soft glow of string lights, created an intimate and romantic ambiance, allowing everyone to revel in the couple's love story.
