Katelyn + Drew | A Dark & Moody Outdoor Patio Inspired Wedding at Capital Bluffs
When it came to wedding planning, the couple wanted a venue to hold all of their closest friends and family. The also didn’t want to compromise on style or convenience. Capital Bluffs Event Center, a large barn-style venue located in Jefferson City, Missouri, was the ideal fit. I remember talking to Katelyn that she wanted the reception venue to be set and ready; she did not want to worry about a room flip or have her guests sit Oscar-style. This led her and Drew to getting married at Faith Lutheran Church in Jefferson City, the church where Katelyn grew up and where her older brother got married years before.
Katie + Brett | A Boho Inspired Wedding at Emerson Fields
Katie and Brett chose Emerson Fields, a beautiful wedding venue in Mid-Missouri, as the place to get married. Katie had heard about the venue through a friend, so she immediately looked up Emerson Fields, falling in love with it immediately. Katie and Brett hosted their wedding ceremony outside with the venue’s pond as their backdrop. The reception followed inside the main all-white venue space.
Mikah + Matt | A Wedding at The Atrium on Tenth
Mikah and Matt quickly began their wedding planning, and they knew they wanted a venue that would allow them to host both their ceremony and reception. It was all about convenience! The two toured The Atrium on Tenth, a large, industrial-styled wedding venue located in downtown Columbia, Missouri, and booked it for their wedding.
Amanda + Lucas | An Editorial City Wedding at The Last Hotel in Saint Louis
When thinking about the perfect Saint Louis wedding venue, Amanda knew she wanted to look at hotels. She knew that it would be easier for everyone if the entire celebration was held at one venue. The Last Hotel, a 4-star boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown St. Louis, provided the couple with a “cool” vibe. They knew that the roof top would be an amazing spot for portraits, too. This was seriously what I would called an editorial city wedding.
Allyson + Jake | A Beautifully Tailored Wedding at The Millbottom
When it came to wedding planning, the couple wanted a venue that was close to their friends and family but also complimented their ideal wedding look, which I would describe as beautifully tailored. The Millbottom, Mid-Missouri’s premiere wedding venue, was the perfect setting for this Jefferson City couple. This industrial wedding venue hosted both the ceremony and reception for this wonderful Thanksgiving weekend wedding.
Madalyn + Melvin | A Late Summer Outdoor Wedding at Sorenson Estate
Madalyn and Melvin decided that Sorenson Estate, a historic property that is part of the University of Missouri school system, would be the perfect setting for their wedding. Madalyn said that they chose Sorenson Estate because it was small but still had plenty of space. Additionally, it offered an outdoor setting while maintaining a certain level of charm and sophistication. The couple exchanged their vows in front of their friends and family outside underneath a large tree. The reception followed underneath a white tent which was located on the estate’s back lawn.
